Infant/Toddler Teacher

The Infant/Toddler Teacher will be responsible for creating safe, engaging, and educational environment for infants and toddlers. This role requires a deep understanding of early childhood development, the ability to design and implement age-appropriate activities, and a genuine love for working with young children.

• Developmentally Appropriate Curriculum: Implement a developmentally appropriate curriculum that supports the cognitive, social, emotional and physical growth of infants and toddlers.
• Daily Activities: Engage children in a variety of activities including play, art, music and sensory experiences, tailored to their developmental needs and interests.
• Individual Attention: Provide individualized attention to each child, ensuring their unique needs are met and their progress is monitored.
• Health and Safety: Ensure the safety and well-being of children by adhering to health and safety regulations, maintaining a clean and organized classroom, and supervising children at all times.
• Communication: Maintain open and effective communication with parents regarding their child's development, behavior, and daily activities. Provide regular updates and address any concerns or questions.
• Record Keeping: Document each child's progress, including milestones, behavioral observations, and developmental achievements. Maintain accurate records and prepare reports as needed.
• Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other teachers and staff to create a cohesive and supportive learning environment. Participate in staff meetings, professional development, and school events.
• Classroom Management: Develop and implement positive behavior management strategies. Create a welcoming and inclusive classroom environment that promotes respect and learning.

Compensation: $11.00 - $17.00 per hour Morning Star Academy goes beyond academic excellence; we focus on shaping hearts and character. Our Christ-centered curriculum integrates daily prayer and Biblical teachings, helping students understand their significance in God's plan. As they grow, they learn to embody Christ's teachings, living out their faith in meaningful ways. We are committed to working with families to create a customized educational experience.
