- Active, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in this state
- Experience in skilled nursing, long-term care, or post-acute care preferred
- Knowledge of Quality Assurance (QA) and QAPI programs
- Strong understanding of CMS regulations and state survey processes
- Experience with clinical audits, data tracking, and performance improvement initiatives
- Strong analytical and leadership skills
The RN Quality Assurance Nurse is responsible for leading and overseeing the facility's Quality Assurance Performance Improvement (QAPI) program
. This role focuses on regulatory compliance, clinical performance monitoring, and continuous improvement initiatives to promote resident safety and quality outcomes.
- Lead and coordinate the facility's QAPI program
- Monitor, track, and trend clinical quality indicators (falls, pressure injuries, infections, rehospitalizations, etc.)
- Conduct routine chart audits and compliance reviews
- Analyze data and develop corrective action plans
- Prepare for and participate in state and federal surveys
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulatory standards
- Collaborate with the Administrator and interdisciplinary team to drive performance improvement
- Provide education and coaching to clinical staff on quality initiatives
