Boone County Hospital is seeking a Family Medicine Physician to join its family practice clinic in Boone, IA. Boone County Hospital offers a competitive compensation plan & excellent benefits. Boone County is located in central Iowa with a county population of 26,000. Boone County has excellent public and parochial schools, the Des Moines Area Community College, great cultural and recreational opportunities, and active churches and civic organizations.
In addition, Boone is only 15 miles from Iowa State University, Ames, one of Iowa's three main universities, and is a 40‑minute drive to Des Moines, the capital of Iowa. Area attractions, scenic views and drives, as well as historic landmarks and events make Boone an inviting place to visit and live.
- Board Eligible or Board Certified in Family Practice or Internal Medicine.
- M.D. or D.O., U.S. Citizen or Green Card Holder.
- American Medical Graduate or Foreign Medical Graduate.
- 2025 and 2026 Residents are being considered.
