Salary Information - $12.50 per hour.
Job Summary
- The work study program provides funds for part-time employment to help students finance the costs of postsecondary education. The program encourages community service work and work related to the student's course of study. The program is designed to provide students with an opportunity for employment arranged around class schedules, while providing essential services to the College and the community.
Essential Functions
- Support Student Services, enhance the prospective student experience, and foster a welcoming and supportive environment for all campus visitors. Lead campus tours, assist with campus visits and events, represent DMACC, and support other departments as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Must be a current, full-time DMACC student taking at least 12 credits. Must maintain a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5. Must demonstrate written and oral communication skills, interpersonal and customer service skills, adaptability and problem-solving abilities, teamwork and collaboration skills, basic computer knowledge, leadership potential, and reliability and professionalism. Must possess a genuine passion for helping others succeed in their educational journey, a strong willingness to learn and develop new skills, and a true enthusiasm for DMACC.
Desired Qualifications
Work Schedule - 20 hours per week. Hours between Monday – Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
