The Corporate Safety Manager is responsible for leading and advancing the company’s health and safety strategy across multiple dairy manufacturing facilities. This role serves as the corporate safety leader, partnering with plant leadership and operations teams to foster a proactive safety culture through injury prevention, risk mitigation, regulatory compliance, continuous improvement, and strategic safety program development.

The Corporate Safety Manager develops, implements, and monitors company-wide safety programs, policies, and standards while ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, including OSHA and food manufacturing safety requirements.

Location and Travel Requirements
  • Work performed in both office and manufacturing environments, including exposure to production areas, equipment, temperature variations, and industrial conditions.
  • Ability to walk production floors, climb stairs, and wear required PPE
  • Regular travel to company manufacturing facilities required (estimated 30–50%).

Daisy Brand is hiring for one Corporate Safety Manager. This role can be located at any of our manufacturing locations in Dallas/Garland, TX;
Boone, IA, Wooster, OH; or Casa Grande, AZ.

Currently, the Daisy Brand corporate office is located in Dallas, TX at 635 and 75. Anticipated September 2027, we will be moving to the Granite Park business complex in North Plano (intersection of Dallas North Tollway and Sam Rayburn Tollway).

For candidates interested in our Boone, IA location

The position is currently located at a temporary office in Ames, IA. Expected in 2028, upon completion of construction, the position will be moving to be onsite at our new manufacturing plant in Boone, IA.

Key Responsibilities Corporate Safety Leadership
  • Develop, implement, and maintain company-wide health and safety programs, policies, procedures, and standards across all manufacturing locations.
  • Lead the company’s overall safety strategy and establish annual safety objectives and performance metrics.
  • Drive a culture of safety accountability, employee engagement, and continuous improvement throughout the organization.
  • Serve as the corporate subject matter expert for occupational health and safety matters.
  • Develop and maintain safety dashboards, KPIs, and reporting tools.
  • Monitor leading and lagging indicators including: TRIR, DART, near misses, audit findings, training completion, corrective action closure, etc.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives that reduce risk and improve operational safety performance.
Regulatory Compliance
  • Ensure compliance with applicable OSHA and state/local safety regulations.
  • Monitor regulatory changes and proactively update company programs and practices as needed.
  • Coordinate and support regulatory inspections and interactions with governmental agencies.
  • Maintain required compliance with documentation, reporting, and recordkeeping.
Manufacturing Facility Support
  • Partner with plant managers, facility leadership teams and site safety teams to implement sustain effective safety programs.
  • Conduct regular site visits, safety audits, inspections, and risk assessments across all facilities.
  • Identify hazards and partner with operations teams to implement corrective and preventive actions.
  • Support facility-level safety committees and encourage employee involvement in safety initiatives.
  • Lead or support incident investigations involving injuries, near misses, and property damage.
  • Conduct root cause analysis and ensure timely corrective action implementation.
  • Track and analyze injury, incident, and workers’ compensation trends to identify improvement opportunities.
  • Develop action plans to reduce incident frequency and severity.
Training & Safety Programs
  • Work collaboratively with Learning & Development team to develop and deliver safety training programs for employees and leadership teams.
  • Ensure required safety training is completed and documented.
  • Ensure emergency drills and preparedness exercises are properly designed and conducted on appropriate frequencies.
