Job Summary
The Welder fabricates and assembles metal components using MIG, TIG, and other welding methods. This role requires producing strong, accurate welds, reading blueprints, and maintaining a safe, efficient workspace in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform welding and fabrication using MIG, TIG, and related techniques
- Read and follow blueprints and technical drawings
- Prepare materials and ensure clean, precise welds
- Operate welding machines, tools, and measuring equipment
- Inspect welds for quality and safety compliance
- Maintain equipment and follow all safety procedures
- Support team production goals and assist with general fabrication tasks
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; welding certification preferred
- Welding experience in manufacturing or production
- Ability to read blueprints and use welding tools and measuring instruments
- Strong attention to detail and problem‑solving skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods
- Commitment to safety practices and procedures
