Position Overview

We are seeking a Production Operator to support the safe, efficient, and compliant production of high‑quality biological products. The operator will run processing equipment, perform in‑process testing, and maintain aseptic manufacturing conditions.

    every other Friday and Saturday‑Monday, 7am‑7pm
Job Responsibilities
  • Operate bioprocessing equipment including centrifuges, filtration systems, and environmental controls
  • Perform routine testing such as protein content, pH, conductivity, and clarity
  • Record data, perform calculations, and follow GMP guidelines
  • Package, label, and palletize finished goods in compliance with quality standards
  • Assist in maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work environment
  • Perform basic maintenance and clean‑up activities (clean equipment, dispose waste, log cleaning tasks, check seals, tighten or replace gaskets under supervision)
  • Coordinate with Quality Assurance to submit and track product samples
  • Accurately complete required production and quality documentation
  • Support shift leads and supervisors in process improvements
  • Operate forklifts and/or pallet jacks as required
  • All other duties as assigned
Job Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Preferred experience in biological production or manufacturing
  • Ability to safely operate forklifts
  • Basic math and record‑keeping skills
Job Requirements
  • Attention to detail and ability to follow written procedures
  • Basic understanding of biology, chemistry, and scientific principles
  • Comfortable using computers, equipment interfaces, and basic software (Microsoft suite)
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team
  • Knowledge and ability to comply with regulatory requirements (cGMP, FDA, USDA, ISO
    9001)
  • Perform basic math calculations
  • Implement all safety techniques and mandated rules and regulations in accordance with established policies and procedures

Mental Requirements

This role requires the mental capabilities to understand job functions, standard operating procedures, and safety procedures. The employee must be able to understand and follow established procedures for fractionation, separation, liquid handling, and process and personnel flow, and adhere to SOPs without deviation. Understanding written and oral instruction, recording data, communicating with co‑workers, and performing high‑school level math and chemistry calculations and basic scientific principles are essential.

Working

Conditions and Exposures

Work occurs in a controlled‑temperature indoor environment (60–70°F) within a manufacturing process area that includes product handling, packaging, and equipment cleaning materials. The manufacturing floor has controlled access and requires lab coats or uniforms and aseptic requirements (hairnets, shoe covers, gloves as necessary). Exposure to chemicals used during processing and clean‑up, high noise levels, moving machinery, moving throughout the building, splashing liquids, dust, and concrete floors will occur.

The employee may need to operate computer, copier, printer, and fax machines as necessary.
