We are seeking an ARNP or PA-C to join our busy, rural, well-established primary care clinics affiliated with Boone County Hospital. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated APP who enjoys caring for a diverse patient population in a collaborative, team-based environment.
Position Highlights- Full time position which will include inpatient rounding and call
- Practice in a rural clinic affiliated with a Critical Access Hospital
- Broad scope of practice with a diverse patient population across the lifespan
- Strong teamwork with physicians, nursing, and care team members
- Dragon voice recognition and AI-assisted documentation tools to reduce charting burden and support work-life balance
- Community-focused practice where providers are truly valued
- Provide comprehensive primary care services including preventive care, chronic disease management, and acute care
- Conduct patient histories, physical exams, diagnosis, and treatment planning
- Order and interpret laboratory and diagnostic tests
- Prescribe medications and manage ongoing care
- Collaborate closely with physicians and interprofessional team members
- Utilize Dragon and AI documentation tools to support efficient, high-quality clinical documentation
- Assist with inpatient rounds in a rotation with other APP’s and Physicians
- Graduate of an accredited ARNP or PA-C accredited program
- Current (or ability to obtain) state licensure in the state of Iowa
- Current DEA and CSA
- ACLS, BLS and PALS required for this position
- Three to Five years Primary care experience required do to inpatient responsibilities
