Job OverviewARMStaffing is seeking a registered nurse to provide high‑acuity care in a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) on a 13‑week travel contract. The role involves night shifts and may require floating to other units within the intensive care environment as needs arise.

Night shifts: 3 x 12‑hour (19:00 – 07:00), including weekends (2 per month) and holidays as needed.
Job DescriptionThe registered nurse will deliver high‑acuity nursing care to patients experiencing medical complications across various units. The role requires flexibility to float within the skillset to meet patient needs, providing essential support in a dynamic environment.
Responsibilities- Evaluate patient needs and develop individualized care plans based on assessments.
- Administer medications and treatments as per established protocols.
- Monitor patient progress and communicate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families.
- Utilize Epic for documentation and care coordination.
- 2+ years of IMC/Telemetry/PCU nursing experience required.
- 2+ years of travel nursing experience preferred.
- Current NC or Multistate RN license required.
- BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS certifications required.
- Telemetry experience and proficiency with Epic EMR are required.
- Comfortable providing care to pediatric patients, though not common.
