Inventory Specialist

Patterson is seeking an Inventory Specialist to support our Distribution & Logistics team within the Inventory Management department. In this role, you will accurately receive, store, count, and replenish dental and animal health products to ensure optimal stock levels and timely order fulfillment. You will perform cycle counts, investigate discrepancies, and maintain data integrity in our warehouse management system. Partnering closely with operations, purchasing, and customer service, you'll help improve inventory accuracy, reduce backorders, and support continuous improvement in a collaborative, safety focused environment.

Responsibilities

• Receive, store, pick, and replenish dental and animal health products according to standard operating procedures
• Perform regular cycle counts and full physical inventories to maintain high inventory accuracy
• Research and reconcile inventory discrepancies; report issues and propose corrective actions
• Update inventory data in warehouse management or ERP systems with strong attention to detail
• Monitor stock levels, expirations, and rotations; support product returns and adjustments
• Collaborate with purchasing, operations, and customer service to resolve stock and order issues
• Follow all safety, quality, and regulatory guidelines for handling healthcare products

• Operate material handling equipment and maintain a clean, organized work area
• Generate basic inventory reports and communicate status to supervisors and cross functional partners
