The position requires a detail-oriented individual to support the financial operations of the Campus Services finance team. Responsibilities include processing deposits, preparing journal entries, assisting with fund reconciliations, and maintaining audit-ready records.

- Process and reconcile daily deposits in accordance with University procedures
- Prepare and submit journal entries
- Assist with fund reconciliations and supporting documentation
- Complete and route Fund Authority forms
- Support budget revision entries as directed
- Coordinate and process event-related parking assignments
- Provide general administrative and financial data entry support to the entire Campus Services finance team
- Maintain organized financial records and documentation for audit readiness
Graduation from high school and five years of accounting work experience; or an equivalent combination of training and experience. All degrees must be from appropriately accredited institutions. Entry to mid‑level experience in accounting support, bookkeeping, or financial data entry. Experience in processing daily deposits and financial transactions. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet established deadlines.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and standard office software.
4-year degree in Accounting + 1 year of related work experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience in internal accounting within a university, state government, or public sector environment. Experience with journal entries, fund reconciliation, fund authority forms, and budget revisions.
Work Schedule / HoursMonday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with occasional evening and weekend hours required. 40 hours per week, 11 months per year.
Physical DemandsPicking, pinching, typing, or otherwise working primarily with fingers. Repetitive motion. Substantial movements of the wrists, hands, and/or fingers. Sedentary work. Exert up to 10 lbs of force occasionally and/or a trivial amount of force constantly to move objects, including the human body. Sitting most of the time. Close visual acuity to perform activities such as preparing and analyzing data, transcribing, viewing a computer, and extensively reading.
HiringRange
$18 - $23. Pay will be commensurate with applicant competencies, budget, equity, and market considerations.
