Minimum Qualifications:

Previous training and experience as an orientation leader at Appalachian State University.
License/Certification Required.

Essential Job Functions:

Support new and incoming students and families throughout the orientation and transitional experience.
Serve as an orientation leader for the Office of New Mountaineer & Family Engagement.

Preferred Qualifications:

Previous experience as an Appalachian Orientation Leader.

Work Schedule/

Hours:

Monday – Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m., with some evening hours possible.

Number of Hours Per Week: 30-40.
Number of Months Per Year: 5.

Hiring Range: $11.00-$16.00.
Pay will be commensurate with applicant competencies, budget, equity, and market considerations.
