Health Care Management Faculty Positions (multiple)

We are seeking faculty members for Lecturer and Teaching Assistant Professor positions in the Department of Nutrition and Health Care Management. Positions are 11‑month appointments with a 4/4/2 workload, based in Boone, NC.

• Develop and deliver instruction in health care systems, leadership, quality management, operations, project management, and data management at the undergraduate level, with course assignments predominately online.
• Advise, coach, and mentor students.
• Participate in service activities at the program, department, college, and community levels.
• Engage in both traditional face‑to‑face and online teaching environments.

• Lecturer:
  Master’s degree in health administration or a closely related field and relevant work experience.
• Teaching Assistant Professor:
  Terminal degree (PhD or equivalent) in health administration or a closely related field and relevant work experience.
• Strong emphasis on teaching excellence in both face‑to‑face and online settings.
• Preferred:
  Teaching experience, ability to facilitate students’ application of principles in healthcare scenarios; health care industry or related experience preferred.
• ABD consideration:
  Candidates with ABD may be considered if they submit evidence of dissertation defense by the specified deadlines; otherwise a year‑fixed contract at instructor level will be offered.
• No ABD consideration:
  Only candidates with an earned doctorate will be considered.
