Job DescriptionIndividual must hold or be able to obtain North Carolina Professional Education Certification in at least one exceptional children’s area. Licensure in Elementary Education (K‑6) is also preferred. Candidates must be familiar with functional behavior assessment (FBA) and the creation and implementation of behavior intervention plans (BIPs). They should possess knowledge of behavior interventions and support techniques for students with intensive needs and will work with general education teachers to determine appropriate activities for student inclusion.
The position is full‑time, paid $4,100 per month, and follows the state salary scale with full benefits.
