THIS VACANCY REQUIRES:

Salary Information
$12.50 per hour.
Job Summary
The work study program provides funds for part‑time employment to help students finance the costs of postsecondary education. The program encourages community service work and work related to the student’s course of study. The program is designed to provide students with an opportunity for employment arranged around class schedules, while providing essential services to the College and the community.
Essential Functions
Support Student Life and promote DMACC spirit by embodying the lively and friendly persona of Mac the Bear.
Enhance the experience at campus and DMACC Athletics events and foster a welcoming atmosphere for all attendees, including children.
Perform as Mac the Bear or assist mascot performance, interact with audiences, wear and maintain the costume, engage crowds, represent DMACC , and support other departments as assigned.
Required Qualifications
Must be a current, full‑time DMACC student taking at least 12 credits.
Must maintain a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5.
Must be physically able to fit within the size requirements of the mascot costume (ideal height between 5’7 and 6’2 ) and support the weight of the costume (approximately 50 lbs.) for extended periods of time.
Must demonstrate enthusiasm and charisma, interpersonal and communication skills, reliability and professionalism, adaptability and problem-solving, and a genuine passion for DMACC .

20 hours per week. Hours between Monday – Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
