Travel Cath Lab Tech

We are seeking an experienced Travel Cath Lab Tech to join the Interventional Cardiology team at a Medical Center in Boone, NC. This position involves assisting with diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures
, supporting a high-performing cardiovascular services department.

This is an excellent assignment for a technologist skilled in scrub, circulate, or monitor duties
, and comfortable working in a fast-paced cath lab with strong physician and RN collaboration.

• Assist cardiologists during diagnostic and interventional procedures (PCI, angiography, STEMI, vascular interventions)
• Perform or support scrubbing, circulating, and monitoring roles
• Operate imaging and hemodynamic monitoring equipment
• Prep and position patients, manage supplies, and ensure sterile technique
• Assist with vascular access, contrast injection setup, and radiation safety
• Participate in STEMI call (if required by facility)
• Collaborate with RNs, physicians, and procedural staff

• RCIS certification preferred (or ARRT with Cath Lab experience)
• BLS required; ACLS preferred
• 1–2+ years recent Cath Lab experience
• Strong experience with interventional cardiology procedures
• Experience with hemodynamic monitoring systems
• Previous travel experience helpful but not required
