In the role of Senior Custom Systems Analyst, you will have the opportunity to:

• Maintain your personal relationship with Jesus Christ and be an effective witness for Him.
• Work with ministry areas and program managers to turn basic business requirements into user stories and developable functional and non-functional requirements.
• Work with ministry areas and program managers to document needs, processes, and workflows related to custom applications.
• Work with program managers and ministry areas to prioritize analysis and development activities.
• Lead brainstorming sessions and analysis workshops to gather an understanding of system needs.
• Collaborate with subject matter experts, solution architects, user experience experts, and program managers to design systems that achieve ministry objectives.
• Collaborate with partner teams to build great products and projects.
• Provide technical training on developed solutions to ministry areas, training teams, and program managers.
• Serve alongside quality assurance team members to ensure quality delivery of developed systems.
• Communicate system and business requirements to developers during development kickoff meetings.
• Work cross-functionally to obtain appropriate agreements and approvals for custom development projects.
• All other duties as assigned.

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, or a related field and ten (10)+ years of experience in business systems analysis, custom software development, enterprise applications, or a related discipline; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Demonstrated analytical and critical-thinking skills with the ability to identify root causes, evaluate alternatives, and recommend practical, scalable solutions to complex business and technical challenges.
• Strong knowledge of business and systems analysis practices, including requirements elicitation, process mapping, gap analysis, user stories, functional and non-functional requirements, and business process improvement.
• Thorough understanding of the Systems Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile/Scrum methodologies, with working knowledge of custom software development principles, application architecture, system integrations, release management, and quality assurance practices.
• Excellent written, verbal, presentation, and facilitation skills with the ability to communicate effectively across technical and non-technical audiences, build consensus among diverse stakeholders, manage multiple concurrent initiatives, mentor team members, and leverage modern technologies, including AI tools and prompt engineering techniques, to improve analysis, documentation, solution design, and overall team productivity.
• 12 credit hours of college-level Biblical Studies (required); if not already completed, an opportunity to meet and complete the requirement is available upon hire.
