Samaritans Purse is seeking a Carpet / Hard Surface Cleaning Supervisor to join our team in Boone, NC . You can be a part of a highly professional Facilities team. As a Carpet / Hard Surface Cleaning Supervisor, you will serve Samaritans Purse by leading and overseeing high-quality carpet and hard surface cleaning across domestic ministry locations. This role provides spiritual, operational, and technical leadership to ensure excellence, safety, stewardship, and Christ-centered service while maintaining clean, welcoming, and mission-ready facilities.

A day in the life of a Carpet / Hard Surface Cleaning Supervisor:

In the role of Carpet / Hard Surface Cleaning Supervisor, you will have the opportunity to:

• Maintain your personal relationship with Jesus Christ and be an effective witness for Jesus Christ
• Supervise, train, and mentor carpet and hard surface cleaning technicians, providing daily direction, coaching, and performance feedback.
• Plan, schedule, and assign daily, weekly, and project-based cleaning tasks to ensure coverage, efficiency, and quality standards are met.
• Perform and oversee carpet and hard surface cleaning using industry-standard equipment, tools, and products, ensuring proper techniques are followed.
• Inspect completed work to ensure cleanliness, safety, and quality expectations are achieved. Identify deficiencies and implement corrective action.
• Ensure proper care, maintenance, and accountability of all assigned equipment, tools, and supplies.
• Lead safety initiatives, enforce PPE use, signage placement, and compliance with all safety and sanitation protocols.
• Respond to urgent or emergency cleaning needs and coordinate appropriate staffing and resources.
• Maintain accurate documentation including work logs, inspections, incident reports, and supply usage.
• Model and reinforce a culture of hospitality, professionalism, teamwork, and Christlike servant leadership.
• Assist with onboarding and training of new team members.
• Collaborate with Facilities leadership and other departments to support ministry events, projects, and operational needs.
• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required. Five (5) or more years of related experience in commercial cleaning or facilities services, with at least two (2) years in a supervisory or lead role; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Strong working knowledge of commercial carpet and hard surface cleaning practices.
• Demonstrated leadership and supervisory skills.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to write reports, schedules, and basic correspondence.
• Ability to apply sound judgement and problem-solving skills in dynamic work environments.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail.
• Twelve credit hours of college-level Biblical studies preferred, not required
