What is the opportunity?We are seeking an International Regional Manager to join our Israel & Ukraine team in Boone, NC. Through humanitarian work, the goal and purpose of Samaritan's Purse are to help people in Jesus' name and share the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
In the role of Regional Manager, you will have the opportunity to:- Maintain a personal, active relationship with Jesus Christ and is a consistent witness for Jesus Christ
- Support the Regional Director in order to create, articulate, and disseminate a clear vision and strategy for Samaritan's Purse programing in the region
- Work with relevant Headquarters and field-level staff to ensure all grants, awards, and internally funded programs are implemented according to Samaritan's Purse Program Management Guidelines and donor requirements
- Analyze data and background materials in order to provide guidance to and support Regional Director(s) and key decision makers
- Maintain detailed understanding of regional grant activity and provide timely summaries to the Regional Director(s)
- Manage partner relationships and programs in the region and communicate regularly with funding recipients in order to receive timely reports; establish funding and evaluation criteria, send guidelines to perspective partners, evaluate program proposals, make funding recommendations, and monitor currently funded programs
- Investigate and determine new opportunities for partnership in existing countries and other countries in the region
- Assist Field Office headquarter-level support with all aspects of procurement, including planning, bid justifications, and contracts
- Assist Regional Director(s) by providing on-site monitoring and evaluation of partner programs
- Assume lead responsibility for managing specific partner projects
- Provide surge capacity and assume additional responsibilities for Regional Director(s) during absence due to travel, disaster response, or vacancy
- Other duties as assigned
- Bachelor's degree (BA) from four-year college or university and three (3) to five (5) years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- 12 credit hours of college-level Biblical Studies (required); if not already completed, opportunity to meet and complete requirement is available upon hire.
