RN - PCU

Night shift, 3x12 hours (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM), up to 2 weekends per month, with holiday coverage.

We are seeking an experienced IMCU Float Pool RN to join our team. The RN will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care while floating to Med Surg as patient volume requires. This position requires comfortable handling pediatric patients as well.

• Provide nursing care in an Intermediate Care Unit setting
• Float to Med Surg units as needed based on patient volume
• Maintain a 5:1 patient to RN ratio with a goal of 4:1
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
• Monitor patients' vital signs and cardiac rhythms
• Participate in interdisciplinary patient care rounds

• 2 years of nursing experience in a relevant specialty
• Experience with telemetry nursing
• Current NC nursing license or multistate license
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS certifications required
• Proficiency in EMR, specifically EPIC, required
