Boone Hospital Center in Columbia, Missouri is seeking a Primary Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant. Anchored by a 392-bed full service hospital in Columbia and serving communities throughout central Missouri, clinics in Columbia and Hallsville are growing. The candidate for this position will be joining a well-established primary care practice focused to improve the health of the people and communities we serve.

Overview


Practice Highlights:

• Join one of the established clinics located in Columbia (Broadway or Nifong locations) or Hallsville.
• Manages the health care for primate care patient populations through advanced health assessment, diagnosis, intervention, and evaluation.
• Utilizes a high degree of knowledge, skill and competence in a specialized area to coordinate, manage and evaluate the delivery of quality patient care.
• Serves as a role model, mentor, and preceptor for others.
• Boone Health has determined this is a safety-sensitive position. The ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner is an essential function of this job.
• Performs Other Responsibilities as Assigned.

Responsibilities:

• Provide exceptional medical care of assigned patients, ensuring optimal clinical outcomes.
• Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare team members to deliver compassionate care.
• Perform thorough histories and physicals, adhering to hospital by-laws and best practices.
• Maintain a constant state of alertness and safety in this critical role at Boone Health.
• Performs Other Responsibilities as Assigned.
