Join our team as a Cath Lab Registered Nurse (Travel RN) in Boone, North Carolina — a 13-week cardiac cath lab assignment in the scenic Blue Ridge Mountains. • Assignment Length: 13 weeks (Travel RN)
• Location: Boone, NC 28607 (Boone, North Carolina; North Carolina travel nursing)
• Setting: Cardiac Cath Lab (Inpatient) — Cath Lab Nurse / Cardiac RN role
• Shift: 4x10-hour day shifts (07:00 - 17:00), Monday–Friday with varying day off and call requirements
• Hours per Week: 40
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,370 - $2,500 per week
• Start Date: March 30, 2026
• Scrub Colors: All navy or all white

• Active NC or Multistate Registered Nurse (RN) license — current and valid for contract duration
• Minimum 2 years recent Cath Lab circulating RN experience (cardiac catheterization, angiography, PCI experience preferred)
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Moderate sedation skills and experience administering/monitoring sedation
• Proficiency with EPIC EMR required (EPIC charting experience)
• Previous travel nursing experience required (Travel RN / Cath Lab Nurse background)
• COVID-19 vaccination required (medical/religious exemptions considered)
• Must reside at least 40 miles from the facility (local candidates not accepted)

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients undergoing cardiac catheterization and related procedures as a Cath Lab Nurse / Cardiac RN
• Circulate, assist and anticipate needs during Cath Lab procedures (angiography, PCI, stent placement)
• Administer moderate sedation, monitor patient responses, and ensure patient safety and comfort throughout procedures
• Document care, procedural details and medication administration accurately in EPIC EMR
• Collaborate with interventional cardiologists, technologists and the interdisciplinary cardiac care team
• Participate in on-call rotation as required and maintain readiness for urgent procedures
• Adhere to facility policies, infection control standards and Cath Lab safety protocols
