Travel Labor and Delivery Nurse

Position Summary

Travel Registered Nurse – Labor and Delivery (L&D).

Location:

Boone, North Carolina. Start: 07/20/2026. Duration: 13 weeks.

Hours:

36 per week on 12‑hour night shifts (Friday, Saturday, Sunday, 7:00 PM–7:00 AM).

Employment Type:

Travel.

• Provide comprehensive nursing care for patients in labor, delivery, postpartum, and well‑baby settings.
• Administer medications and manage IVs as needed.
• Assist with labor and delivery procedures, including vaginal and cesarean births.
• Perform assessments and develop individualized care plans.
• Educate patients and families on postpartum and newborn care.
• Maintain accurate patient records using Epic electronic medical record system.
• Participate in ongoing education and professional development activities.

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Labor and Delivery nursing.
• Current RN license to practice in North Carolina.
• BLS, ACLS, NRP certifications required; AWHONN certification preferred.
• Experience with Epic electronic medical records is required.
