Position Overview
A-Line Staffing is now hiring a CWP Immunizing Nurse - Vaccination Initiative in Boone, NC 28607.
Pay Rate: $45.04 per hour (Weekly Pay)
Join the 2026 Vaccination Initiative as an Immunizing Nurse (RN) providing essential immunization services in a patient‑facing retail healthcare setting. This role focuses on administering a variety of vaccines, including Flu, COVID‑19, MMR, and other routine immunizations. Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is provided.
We expect updates on the 2026 vaccination season in the coming weeks, with some assignment start dates as early as 8/23/2026. Assignments are expected to continue through 12/31/2026 and may be extended, converted to a permanent position, or offer the opportunity to return for future vaccination seasons.

Job TypeTemporary with opportunity to extend or convert to permanent based on business needs.
ScheduleMonday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday | 2:30 PM – 6:30 PM. Because this assignment has designated days and hours, candidates must be available during the scheduled operating times. Candidate must be flexible with work hours based on business needs.
Responsibilities- Administer vaccines including Flu, COVID-19, MMR, and other recommended immunizations.
- Safely administer medications while following established clinical protocols.
- Deliver exceptional patient care with empathy, compassion, and professionalism.
- Adapt to changing priorities in a fast‑paced community healthcare environment.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals and support staff to provide outstanding patient care.
- Promote a positive, patient-focused team culture built on collaboration, energy, and respect.
- Utilize strong clinical judgment and nursing skills throughout patient interactions.
- Support seasonal vaccination efforts while maintaining patient safety and compliance.
- Full, active, and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of North Carolina.
- Minimum one (1) year of related nursing experience, including immunizations and direct patient care.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong clinical skills, including medication administration and vaccine administration.
- Ability and willingness to administer all required vaccines.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification preferred.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Must not be on the DEA Excluded Parties List.
- Community healthcare or vaccination clinic experience is preferred.
- Must be comfortable working in an onsite, patient‑facing environment.
- Active, unrestricted North Carolina RN license.
- Minimum one year of nursing experience, including immunizations.
- Ability to work onsite in a patient-facing role.
- Availability during the scheduled hours of Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday from 2:30 PM – 6:30 PM.
- Flexibility with work hours based on business needs.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Ability and willingness to administer all required vaccines.
- Strong communication, patient care, and teamwork skills.
- BLS Certification is preferred.
In‑person, patient‑facing role. Onsite assignment. PPE provided. Fast‑paced retail healthcare environment supporting seasonal vaccination efforts.
