Registered Nurse – ICU

$2080.80/week –

Job Summary:

Seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to provide critical care in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) for a 13-week contract. The role involves delivering specialized patient care in a fast-paced environment, ensuring compliance with industry standards and hospital policies.

Responsibilities:

• Administer advanced nursing care to critically ill patients in the ICU.
• Monitor patient conditions, interpret vital signs, and respond swiftly to changes.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and execute patient treatment plans.
• Document patient progress and maintain accurate medical records using EPIC EMR software.
• Adhere to all protocols, including ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications, and ensure licensure is current.
• Float within hospital units as needed, maintaining flexibility and high-quality care.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid compact RN license or multi-state license with clear expiration date.
• Possess a minimum of 2 years of recent ICU experience, with travel experience preferred.
• Maintain current ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications through AHA.
• Demonstrate proven skills in critical care and emergency response.
• Be able to provide valid references and meet local residency requirements (residing within 40 miles of facility).
• Be willing to submit background checks, Nursys report, and comply with travel documentation requirements.
