Registered Nurse - Critical Care Unit (CCU)

This is a 13-week contract position.

The selected candidate will work night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, including weekdays, some weekends, and holidays.

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse with experience in Critical Care to join our team. The ideal candidate will deliver high-quality patient care in the Critical Care Unit (CCU), adapting to the fast-paced and dynamic environment of a healthcare setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to critically ill patients.
• Monitor and assess patient health status, adjusting care plans accordingly.
• Administer medications and interventions as prescribed.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records in compliance with protocols.
• Floating to other units as needed to support patient care requirements.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Active RN license in North Carolina (compact RN license preferred).
• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in Critical Care.
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required via AHA.
• Previous travel nursing experience is preferred.
• Familiarity with EPIC charting system.
