RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Lead monthly, quarterly, and year-end close activities and ensure accurate, timely financial reporting in accordance with applicable accounting standards.
  • Oversee core accounting areas including the general ledger, revenue recognition, inventory, leases, fixed assets, consolidations, reconciliations, and financial statement analysis.
  • Own external and statutory audit coordination, internal audit readiness, control remediation, and adherence to financial policies and procedures.
  • Direct tax compliance activities across applicable federal, state, local, sales/use, customs, and other jurisdictions while partnering with outside advisors on planning and risk reduction.
  • Manage cash forecasting, treasury activities, banking relationships, accounts payable, accounts receivable, fixed assets, and procurement-related controls.
  • Improve working capital performance through stronger cash conversion, inventory utilization, collections, and DSO management.
  • Partner with finance and department leaders on budgeting, forecasting, long-range planning, and identification of financial risks and opportunities.
  • Prepare executive-level reporting and presentations that clearly explain business performance, variances, cash flow drivers, risks, opportunities, and recommended actions.
  • Analyze large financial and operational data sets to identify trends and translate findings into practical business insights for leadership.
  • Lead ERP optimization, reporting enhancements, automation, dashboard development, and workflow improvements that reduce manual effort while maintaining appropriate controls.
  • Coach and develop accounting and finance team members, establish performance expectations, strengthen accountability, and support succession planning.
  • Lead cross-functional initiatives, maintain current work instructions and training materials, and support acquisition due diligence and integration activities as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required; MBA or other advanced degree is a plus.
  • 7–10 years of progressive accounting experience, including 5+ years leading finance/accounting teams and developing employees.
  • Hands‑on experience managing full-cycle accounting functions and strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP, IFRS, tax compliance, revenue recognition, inventory accounting, internal controls, and audit management.
  • Ability to prepare, review, and analyze the Income Statement, Balance Sheet, and Statement of Cash Flows and clearly explain performance to financial and non-financial leaders.
  • Strong understanding of cash flow forecasting, working capital management, and the operational transactions that impact the general ledger and financial statements.
  • Advanced ERP and reporting-tool proficiency with the ability to extract, cleanse, transform, and analyze large data sets; ERP implementation or finance transformation experience preferred.
  • Advanced Excel skills plus strong proficiency with presentation, word-processing, financial modeling, and business intelligence tools such as Power BI or similar platforms.
  • Experience in manufacturing, medical device, diagnostics, life sciences, or another regulated environment strongly preferred.
  • CPA strongly preferred; limited travel may be required.
BENEFITS
  • Competitive base compensation with eligibility for an incentive/bonus program.
  • Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance options, plus flexible spending account benefits.
  • 401(k) retirement plan, paid time off, life insurance, disability coverage, and comprehensive leave programs.
  • High-impact leadership opportunity with broad ownership across accounting, planning, analytics, working capital, systems, and process transformation.
  • Executive-level exposure and the opportunity to influence business decisions while building and developing a high-performing finance team.
