Main missions

The Machine Operator / Assembler/ Robotics Operator is responsible for operating various machinery/ robots as well as assembly of carbon brushes. The duties and responsibilities dictate the safety and efficiency of everyone around them. They must remain focused and diligent in performing their tasks correctly and with care to keep everything running smoothly.

Main duties

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Operation of various machinery, including tamping, grinders, drill press, slot machine, robots etc.
• Setting up manufacturing equipment for daily use
• Maintaining equipment and machinery for safe operation.
• Training and overseeing other employees on specialty machines
• Maintaining the understanding of operating procedures for their machines
• Proposing improvements to the process or machines as needed
• Reporting safety hazards within the work environment
• Use measuring instruments
• Prepare parts for processing
• Maintain cleanliness of the immediate area
• Comply with all Health and Safety procedures.
• Comply with ISO policies & procedures.
• Assembly of carbon brushes.
• Other projects as assigned.

Job Qualifications

• Education:
  
  Secondary education / High school diploma / On-the-job training
