Packaging Lead

• Terr Ascend is hiring a Full-Time Packaging Lead at their Boonton, NJ facility to oversee the packaging of cannabis products, ensuring quality, safety, regulatory compliance, and on-time production schedule execution while leading a team of Packaging Associates.
• Key responsibilities include maintaining equipment, managing logs and documentation, preparing work spaces for shifts, ensuring team adherence to procedures, and contributing to continuous process improvement.
• Candidates should have production or manufacturing experience, a positive attitude, strong attention to detail, ability to work in a fast-paced team environment, meet physical requirements including lifting 50 lbs, and pass state and federal background checks.

Our next Full-Time Packaging Lead will be responsible for the Packaging of manufactured cannabis products for customer consumption. As a Packaging Lead you will report to the Lab Manager and lead a team of Packaging Associates in a coordinated effort to provide safe and effective medicine for consumers in adherence with Terr Ascend standards of quality and state rules and regulations.

To Be Blunt

You will be challenged to work tactically to ensure complete and on time execution of production schedules.

One minute you will be accurately filling out all associated logs and tracking records.

The next minute you will be preparing the room for opening and/or closing of each shift.

And the next minute ensuring team members are completing SPC’s and logging weights appropriately.

Regardless of the task, it’s critical you have strong situational awareness and EQ as you’ll work within a diverse team in the organization.

Where you’ll be planted

This position will be on-site at our Boonton, NJ facility.

• Adhere to the daily production schedule to ensure attainment of efficiency goals.
• Verify that all applicable working areas, tools, and processing equipment are maintained and in good working order prior to the start of each shift or batch.
• Clean and sanitize glassware, transfer materials, storage vessels, tools, equipment and working surfaces.
• Produce reliable and precise data for completion of all required batch, equipment, quality, inventory and state mandated seed to sale documentation.
• Accurately fill out all associated logs and tracking records.
• Perform processes with strict attention to quality, safety, and regulatory compliance requirements.
