Key Responsibilities:

* Perform psychiatric evaluations and assessments for patients in an inpatient setting.

* Diagnose and treat a range of mental health conditions, including mood disorders, anxiety, psychotic disorders, and more.

* Develop, implement, and adjust individualized treatment plans.

* Prescribe and manage psychiatric medications, monitoring for efficacy and side effects.

* Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists, nurses, social workers, and therapists, to ensure holistic care.

* Provide education and support to patients and families regarding treatment plans and mental health management.

* Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care in accordance with regulatory standards.

* Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and organizational policies.

Qualifications:

* Master's degree in Nursing (MSN) with Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) certification.

* Active Nurse Practitioner license in the state of New Jersey, CDS, and DEA.

* Board certification in Psychiatric-Mental Health Nursing (PMHNP-BC).

* Experience in inpatient psychiatric care preferred.

* Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

* Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.

* Flexibility to work evening and weekend shifts as needed.
