As an unarmed patrol officer in a utilities location, you will monitor assigned areas through routine foot and vehicle patrols, helping to support a secure environment and help to deter security-related incidents.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout utility-related facilities, operational areas, buildings, grounds, and perimeter locations to help to identify hazards, unauthorized activity, and/or maintenance concerns.
• Monitor access points and help to control entry and exit activity for authorized personnel, visitors, deliveries, and/or contractors in accordance with site protocols.
• Complete routine reports, logs, and incident documentation while helping to support order at the location and reporting concerns to appropriate personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
