** What You'll Do:*
* + Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors at a utilities location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.

+ Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facility buildings, grounds, access points, and perimeter areas to help identify unusual activity, hazardous conditions, and unauthorized access.

+ Monitor access control points, visitor and contractor activity, and vehicle entry and exit in accordance with site procedures.

+ Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and document activities according to site requirements.

+ Complete accurate reports, daily activity logs, and incident documentation while communicating observations and concerns to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

* Minimum Requirements:

* + At least two years of security-related experience is required.

+ Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required.

+ Be at least 21 years of age.

+ A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
