Overview
Golden Plains Community Hospital is seeking a Full Time LVN to work on our OBGYN Unit. Hours are 1900 to 0700; days will vary. Functions as a health care member under the direction of the Registered Nurse to implement the Plan of Care utilizing the nursing process. Provides a safe, therapeutic environment by following basic standards of nursing practice. OB experience a plus.
ResponsibilitiesAs a licensed vocational nurse on the OB/GYN unit, you will perform nursing care under the direction of the Registered Nurse, implement the plan of care, utilize the nursing process, and maintain a safe, therapeutic environment following nursing standards and technical skills.
Position Qualifications- Graduate of a school or vocational nursing, required.
- Current Texas License to practice vocational nursing, required.
- Current ACLS and CPR certification preferred but will set up classes to get certified.
