Senior Mechanical Engineer, Bossier City, Louisiana (Onsite)

Direct Hire – $90,000–$98,000 base + bonus

Imprimis Group/IGXperts is actively hiring a Senior Mechanical Engineer for a high‑impact onsite opportunity supporting advanced infrastructure and heavy manufacturing projects. This is a hands‑on engineering leadership role for someone who thrives in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment and can take ownership of projects from concept through production, testing, and implementation.

This is an excellent opportunity for a mechanically strong engineer with deep manufacturing expertise, solid project leadership skills, and the technical horsepower to drive complex mechanical design initiatives.

• Lead mechanical design for modular infrastructure systems, factory‑built assemblies, and industrial product solutions.
• Drive HVAC, airflow/thermal management, piping/fluid systems, and controls integration design efforts.
• Develop engineering calculations, drawings, specifications, and complete design packages.
• Oversee project timelines, deliverables, technical risk, and engineering execution.
• Partner cross‑functionally with manufacturing, quality, supply chain, field services, and engineering teams.
• Support factory acceptance testing, commissioning, field troubleshooting, and root‑cause analysis.
• Perform design validation including structural, vibration, fatigue, and thermal performance analysis.
• Ensure compliance with applicable engineering codes and standards.
• Mentor junior engineers and help drive design improvements, standardization, and manufacturability initiatives.
• Collaborate with vendors and OEM partners on technical evaluations and product development.

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering required.
• 6–10+ years of mechanical engineering experience within heavy manufacturing or industrial product development.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license strongly preferred, or ability to obtain quickly.
• Strong background in thermal systems, HVAC, piping/fluid systems, and mechanical fabrication design.
• Experience with Autodesk Inventor, Autodesk products, or similar 3D CAD platforms.
• Hands‑on manufacturing floor exposure and practical product implementation experience.
• Experience leading engineering projects from design through production launch.
• Knowledge of power distribution, industrial infrastructure, or modular systems highly preferred.
• Familiarity with FEA/CFD analysis workflows.
• Strong technical communication and cross‑functional leadership skills.
• Consulting engineering or commercial/industrial construction design experience is highly valued.
