Drilling Fluids Specialist

Field Bridge is looking for a Drilling Fluids Specialist in Bossier City, LA to work for the world's 2nd largest oilfield services company. We offer weekly pay + benefits.

Pay/

Schedule:

$31/hr rotation: 7x7 or 14x14. Great opportunity for OT. At $31/hr and 84 hrs/week, for example, earn weekly paychecks of $3,286 gross.

Per diem: $25/day. Housing provided on site. Mileage reimbursed from closest stock point to location.

Position Overview:

We are seeking experienced Field Professionals to provide well site drilling fluid services to customers across US land operations. In this role, you will demonstrate advanced knowledge of colloidal and general chemistry, hydraulics calculations, and specialized fluid testing while providing technical guidance on customized engineering fluids to maximize wellbore value. This is a 100% field-based role on well locations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide well site service to customers, conducting and interpreting routine and specialized drilling fluid tests to deliver technical guidance on engineered fluid programs
  • Track material usage and maintain accurate records for inventory and billing purposes
  • Maintain strong working relationships with operator representatives and rig personnel and assist with operations planning and drilling optimization
  • Facilitate formal training and provide guidance to Field Service Representatives on company products, services, and drilling fluid technology
  • Review well recaps for accuracy, capture lessons learned, and take an active role in mentoring junior Field Service Representatives

Required Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED required; undergraduate degree in any discipline preferred
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a Fluid Service Representative role in US land operations
  • Math test required prior to placement
  • Advanced knowledge of colloidal and general chemistry, volume and hydraulics calculations, and drilling fluid testing
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills and computer literacy
  • Mud lab equipment experience required
  • Must be available for 7x7 or 14x14 rotation schedule and 100% travel to well locations
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future
