, you will help ensure today is safe and tomorrow is smarter. Our work depends on a Data Analyst Senior joining our team to develop customer dashboards, perform deep dive analytics, and deliver customer solutions. As a Data Analyst Senior
, you will support customers within GDIT to fulfill multiple federal agency missions.

The TSS Data and Analytics team uses a variety of tools including Azure and Azure Dev Ops, AWS, and Tableau. The Tableau dashboards provide program management and financial dashboards to customers allowing them to manage risk and provide the essential reporting to their government customers.

GDIT is committed to fostering economic growth and prosperity in Louisiana with an established operation at our Integrated Technology Center in Bossier City, LA. This position requires 3 days of work per week at our office.

How a Data Analyst Senior will make an impact
  • Conduct market research and define industry best practices for decision-making
  • Lead the design and delivery of advanced NICE CXone reporting and analytics solutions
  • Develop operational dashboards, performance scorecards, trend analysis, and data-driven recommendations
  • Integrate reporting across CXone modules and related enterprise systems to provide comprehensive performance visibility
  • Provide technical leadership on reporting strategy, metric definition, data quality, and analytic interpretation
  • Highlight and define Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to measure performance across different sections
  • Collaborate with a team of developers, analysts, and engineers to determine feature requests, priorities, dashboards, and solutions
  • Write user stories, acceptance criteria, test plans, and retrospectives to improve Agile development processes
  • Perform Quality Assurance (QA) testing of new features to ensure that requirements are met and the resulting user experience works as intended
  • Participate in and support user acceptance testing and the deployment of the solution to production
  • Prepare and conduct presentations and training materials
  • Create and maintain documentation
  • Collaborate with a team of developers, analysts, and engineers to deliver on-time Agile sprint releases
What you’ll need to succeed

Education: BA/BS (or equivalent years of experience)

Required Experience: 5+ years of experience

Security Clearance Level: Must be able to pass a background check to obtain a position of Public Trust (DHS HQ EOD required to be obtained before start; must be able to obtain DHS HQ Final Suitability to maintain employment)

US Citizenship Required

Skills and Abilities:

  • Experience with leading/managing and mentoring a small team of Data Analysts in support of development initiatives
  • Strong Excel background; familiarity with other Microsoft tools (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Strong experience developing dashboards using Power BI or equivalent business intelligence tools to create professional content
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple competing priorities at any given time
  • Good team player, able to manage multiple assignments, and adapt to changing client needs
  • Outstanding communication skills with the ability to present to business leaders
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Knowledge of Agile methodology
  • Familiarity with Azure Dev Ops or similar tool(s)
  • Familiarity with Python or similar programming language
  • Strong project management skills, ability to work towards a deadline and support as a lead analyst
Work Location

Candidates must reside within the state of Louisiana and be able to work a hybrid schedule at GDIT's Integrated Technology Center in Bossier City, LA.
