Accountable for preventative maintenance of all Live! Casino and Hotel facilities, property, and equipment.

Responsibilities

Where You ll Make an Impact:

• Responsible for general maintenance of all facilities of the Live! Casino and Hotel property.
• Knowledge of the HVAC system, alarm system, and generators.
• Painting, plumbing, electrical work, carpentry, and other projects relating to maintenance of the property.
• Preventative maintenance as scheduled on all equipment.
• Ensure proper maintenance and repair of the Live! Casino and Hotel facility for the safety and security of all guests and team members.
• Maintain, repair, and replace gaming table layouts.
• Operate all types of hand tools, power tools, and machinery related to the maintenance shop. Handle chemicals used in maintenance. Use ladders, bucket trucks, forklifts, and safety equipment.
• Maintain a pleasant, friendly, and welcoming attitude. Complete knowledge of all facilities and entertainment available to guests.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Ability to use all necessary tools and equipment to perform maintenance functions.
• Answer all calls promptly and maintain politeness; pay attention to the needs of team members and guests at all times.
• Knowledge of OSHA required standards and safety requirements.
• Knowledge of personal protective equipment.
• Ability to perform assigned duties under frequent time pressure in an interruptive environment.

Qualifications

Must-Haves:

• High school diploma or equivalent. Some technical school training and certification is preferred.
• Two (2) plus years’ experience in maintenance in a commercial facility. Valid driver’s license may be necessary.
• You will be exposed to an alcohol and smoking environment and must be able to work in such environment.
• Must have the ability to secure and maintain licensure as required by Louisiana Gaming Control Board or any other applicable regulatory entity as may be required to perform assigned duties, or as required by Live’s operating standards.
