Responsible for keeping the grounds maintained with a clean, neat, and orderly appearance. Grounds to include parking structure/lots/garage, valet drop off/pickup and all other outside areas within the scope, control and responsibility of Live!
Casino & Hotel.
- Ordering supplies for plants and equipment to maintain the grounds.
- Responsible for cutting, weeding, and edging the grass, raking the leaves, and sweeping the parking lots, and garage.
- Responsible for planting, removing, and relocating plants, flowers, trees, and bushes.
- Removing all trash and debris from parking lot areas and grounds. Emptying trash containers.
- Using, maintaining, and cleaning all machinery equipment.
- Responsible for ensuring all signs, posts, chain fences are straight and secure.
- Responsible for Live grounds and garage are kept in a manner to ensure safety and security of all guests and team members.
- May be called upon and assigned from time to time assist with internal housekeeping and maintenance.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Ability to read, write, and understand simple instructions.
- Ability to use all necessary tools and equipment to perform maintenance functions.
- Answer all calls promptly and maintain politeness; pay attention to the needs of guests and team members at all times.
- Knowledge of OSHA required standards and safety requirements.
- Knowledge of personal protective equipment.
- Ability to perform assigned duties under frequent time pressure in an interruptive environment.
- A high school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Zero (0) to two (2) years’ experience with grounds keeping and or outdoor maintenance of a commercial property/facility.
- You will be exposed to an alcohol and smoking environment and must be able to work in such environment.
- Must have the ability to secure and maintain licensure as required by Louisiana Gaming Control Board or any other applicable regulatory entity as may be required to perform assigned duties, or as required by Live’s operating standards.
