Production Assembler

Job Description

1st Choice Personnel is currently hiring Production Assemblers for a local manufacturing company.

We are looking for dependable, hands-on candidates who are comfortable using tools, following instructions, and working in a production environment.

Job Duties

• Assemble metal, mechanical, and electrical components.
• Follow blueprints, diagrams, and work instructions.
• Use hand and power tools to complete assembly work.
• Measure parts and materials using a tape measure.
• Inspect finished work for quality and accuracy.
• Report damaged parts, defects, or other production issues.
• Keep tools and work areas clean and organized.
• Perform basic equipment care as needed.
• Package completed products when required.
• Follow all company safety procedures and wear required PPE.
• Assist with other production duties as needed.

Qualifications

• Ability to read a tape measure.
• Basic math and reading skills.
• Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
• Ability to follow blueprints, diagrams, or written instructions.
• Comfortable working with tools and small components.
• Ability to distinguish different colored wires and components.
• Dependable and able to work well with others.
• Previous assembly or manufacturing experience is a plus.
