• Assist residents with activities of daily living to promote independence and dignity.

• Assure resident safety.
• Bathe, shower, shampoo, shave, comb hair, dress appropriately, provide nail care for assigned residents.
• Follow resident assignment schedule as made by the charge nurse.
• Lift, move, and transfer residents as required.
• Answer call lights in a timely manner.
• Assist or feed residents.
• Keep residents clean and dry, toilet or provide incontinent care.
• Provide supportive, protective, and safe environments for residents.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Must have current Nurse Assistant Certification in the State of Louisiana.
• Must be in good standing on the Nursing Assistant Registry in the State of Louisiana.
• Ability to understand, remember, and carry out oral and written instructions in English.
• Ability to complete assignments while having constant interruptions.
• Must be capable of performing the essential job functions of this job, with or without reasonable accommodation.
