• Provide high-quality nursing care to adult patients in the PCU setting
• Monitor patient vital signs and clinical status
• Administer medications, including drip titrations such as Levophed, Amiodarone, Cardizem, and Insulin
• Manage NG and PEG tube feedings, CVL placements, and urinary catheters
• Assist with patient assessments, documentation, and care planning in Meditech Expanse EMR
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including hospitalists, RTs, OT, PT, and ST
• Float to stepdown and med-surg units as needed

• Valid Louisiana RN license
• 2+ years of recent acute care experience
• Certifications:
  
  BLS, ACLS, NIHSS
• Skills:
  
  PCU RN experience, NIHSS measurement, CVL management, tube feedings, arterial lines, diabetes management, drip titration
• Ability to pass an EKG competency exam prior to start
• Strong communication and professionalism
