Job OverviewRetail Sales Representatives (RSR) work as members of a Retail Team of Experts, bringing the T‑Mobile brand to life. They are brand ambassadors who build energy and excitement around our products and services. They thrive in a fast‑paced environment where technology innovations, customer needs, and the retail experience are constantly evolving. They immerse themselves in significant connections with our customers, using their ability to build new and deepen existing relationships.
RSRs uncover customers’ needs, educate, demonstrate, and recommend device and service solutions. This role is a learning position where new associates work with their team to proactively develop skills and proficiencies. RSRs must successfully complete new employee training.
- Help customers pick up right where they left off in their shopping journey, whether online, through Customer Care, or in‑store.
- Explore individual needs and provide hands‑on demonstrations of the latest technology in store.
- Side‑by‑side sell to find personalized solutions beyond the basic device and service plan, keeping customers connected to the people and lifestyle they love, including accessories and cutting‑edge IoT devices.
- Approach service and sales needs with composure, integrity, and compassion.
- Become skilled with and consistently use digital tools to demonstrate coverage, explain unlimited plans, complete T‑Mobile in‑store training, and stay updated on wireless innovations.
- Establish relationships with and partner with T‑Mobile employees across channels, owning the customer experience and resolving issues to create a seamless environment.
- Successfully identify and hand off small business leads.
- Support team initiatives and foster an inclusive environment.
- Passionate customer advocate who enjoys authentic connections and having fun.
- Competitive drive and proven ability to succeed in a fast‑paced sales environment.
- Willingness to work with peers and store leaders, sharing ideas and providing resolutions.
- Effective at balancing customer needs with performance goals.
- At least six months of customer service and/or sales experience; retail experience preferred.
- Competitive base pay plus commission
