Security Officer Day Shift

We’re looking for a Security Officer to join our team at PENN Entertainment. This role involves protecting casino assets, guests, and employees while ensuring compliance with all health, safety, and gaming regulations.

• Provide protection for the casino, employees, guests, and company assets.
• Guard all transfers of monies and chips on the casino floor, and oversee physical transportation of fills and credits.
• Maintain adherence to health, fire, and safety regulations; identify potential safety hazards and report them to the appropriate personnel.
• Support and maintain Margaritaville Resort Casino courtesy guidelines and promote outstanding guest service.
• Assist with disturbances and intoxicated guests as needed.
• Always promote safety and confidentiality.
• Comply with Margaritaville’s mandated requirements, including gaming-related drops, card and dice reconciliation, inspection, cancellation, destruction, re-issuance of poker cards, and transport of locked chip carriers and documents to and from the Chip Bank.
• Remain alert and diligent to protect guests, property, and staff from harm or loss.
• Patrol buildings and grounds or stand watch at an assigned security post as directed to oversee comfort, safety, and security of guests.
• Greet all guests and staff in a positive, friendly, and professional manner.

• High School Diploma/GED; or six months to one year of experience in customer service; previous security and corrections experience a plus.
• Must be able to obtain a LA Gaming License and L.A.C.T.
• Ability to stand, bend, lift, walk, and stop throughout duration of shift.
• Excel both independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to tolerate second‑hand smoke, noise, and bright lights.
• Ability to work at a fast pace in a crowded/noisy environment.

Initial placement within the salary range is based on an individual's relevant knowledge, skills, and experience.
