Security Officer; Grave Shift

General Accountabilities

• Provides protection for the casino , all employees , guest s, and company assets.
• Guards all transfers of monies and chips on the casino floor as well as the physical transportation of fills and credits.
• Responsible for adherence to health, fire, and safety regulations; identifies potential safety hazards and reports such to the appropriate personnel .
• Supports and maintains the Margaritaville Resort Casino courtesy guidelines and p romotes outstanding guest service.
• Assist with disturbances and intoxicated guests as needed.
• Always promote safety and confidentiality.
• Perform and complete all duties necessary to comply with Margaritaville’s mandated requirements, which include but are not limited to, gaming-related drops, card and dice reconciliation, inspection, cancellation, and destruction, re-issuance of poker cards, and transport of locked chip carriers and documents to and from the Chip Bank.
• Through alertness, diligence, specified procedures, and proactive attention to potential danger and security risks, the Security Officer shall protect our guests, our property, and our staff from harm or loss.
• Patrol, periodically, buildings and grounds of the facility, as directed; or stand watch, as directed, at an assigned Security post, in order to oversee the comfort, safety, and security of our guests.
• Greet all guests and staff in a positive, friendly, and professional manner.

• High School Diploma/GED; or six months to one year of work experience in customer service; p revious security and corrections experience a plus.
• Must be able to Obtain a LA Gaming License and L.A.C.T.
• Ability to Stand , bend, lift, walk, and stop throughout duration of shift.
• Excel both independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to tolerate second-hand smoke, noise, and bright lights.
• Ability to work at a fast pace in often crowded/noisy environment.

Starting Salary: 13.00 to 15.00 hr
