As a Software Developer Advisor, you will help ensure today is safe and tomorrow is smarter. Our work depends on a Software Developer Advisor joining our team in Bossier City, LA. This position is 100% on site in Bossier City, LA.

HOW A SOFTWARE DEVELOPER ADVISOR WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

• Assists in all phases of the software development lifecycle
• Assists in user/business needs and functionality to plan and design software systems to meet those needs
• Assists with creating a variety of models and diagrams that show programmers the software code needed for an application
• Performs software updates, refinement, testing, and debugging to meet business needs
• Provides analysis for reports on software project specifications, activities, or status
• Advises on the software or system for optimal documentation and future maintenance and updates
• May coach and provide guidance to less experienced professionals
• Assists in research, design, development on application software

• Required Experience:
  
  BA/BS degree and 5+ years of related experience; additional years can be considered in lieu of degree
• Required Technical
  
  Skills:
  • Software: C, C++, scripting (bash, tcsh, Java Script)
  • Operating Systems:
    Linux (must), Windows
  • Other
    
    Skills:
    
    agile experience, System/Software Design, Git Lab
• Required:
