Job Overview:

Speed

X is seeking a dedicated and efficient Dispatcher to join our team. As a Dispatcher, you will be responsible for handling inbound and outbound freight, managing parcels for last-mile delivery, and overseeing the full life cycle of parcel delivery processes.

Schedule:
Wednesday to Saturday

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate the transportation of inbound and outbound freight.
• Schedule and assign drivers for parcel delivery routes.
• Track and monitor the movement of parcels from origin to destination.
• Communicate with drivers, customers, and internal teams to ensure timely and accurate delivery.
• Handle any issues or delays in delivery promptly and efficiently.
• Maintain accurate records of shipments, routes, and delivery status.
• Utilize transportation management systems (TMS) and other software tools to optimize delivery routes and maximize efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with all transportation regulations and company policies.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or training in logistics or a related field is preferred.
• Proven experience in dispatching, logistics, or transportation operations.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Proficiency in using transportation management systems (TMS) and other relevant software.
• Ability to work well under pressure and adapt to changing priorities.
• Knowledge of transportation regulations and safety guidelines.
• Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends is required.
