Job Description
This temporary role will be responsible for assisting with the Month-End Close and overseeing part of the Global Consolidation Process. The ideal candidate must demonstrate the ability to learn quickly, adapt to new processes, and work independently.

This is a contract going through January 2027.
KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Consolidation and Month-End Close- Manage the global consolidation process, ensuring accuracy and timely compilation of consolidated financial results.
- Prepare or review monthly accounting transactions, including journal entries such as currency translation adjustments and FX-related accounts.
- Collaborate with teams (Finance, Treasury, Tax) to drive accurate and timely month-end close.
- Perform or review internal controls specific to the consolidation process.
- Partner with the Information Technology team to enhance accounting applications such as Oracle, Black Line, and HFM, including participation in testing, upgrades, and process improvements.
- Perform monthly accounting tasks for payroll-related accounts, including recording journal entries, resolving discrepancies, and collaborating with the payroll team.
- Reconcile accounts in Black Line and analyze fluctuation drivers for explanation to management.
- Record and reconcile Captive insurance accounts and coordinate with the insurance team and third-party vendors.
- Reconcile accounts in Blackline and analyse fluctuation drivers for explanation to management.
- Recording and reconciliation of the Captive insurance accounts and coordination with insurance team and 3rd party vendor.
- Bachelor’s degree in either Accounting, Finance, Information Technology, Business or a related field
- Minimum of 6+ years of experience in an Accounting General Ledger or Consolidation role.
- Experience with accounting systems (especially Oracle, HFM, and Black Line) is preferred but not required, as training and support will be provided.
- Demonstrated ability to learn quickly and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Collaborative mindset with a passion for continuous improvement.
