Collections Specialist

Creative Financial Staffing has partnered with a logistics company located in Charlestown seeking a Collections Specialist to join their team. • They are fully on-site Monday through Friday

Responsibilities of the Collections Specialist:

• Manage corporate customer accounts to ensure payment collection
• Monitor accounts receivable aging reports to set priorities and maintain detailed notes
• Connect with corporate customers via phone and email regarding past-due invoices
• Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies and other disputes
• Coordinate with the sales departments to address customer concerns related to payment
• Escalate delinquent accounts as appropriate
• Assist with accounts receivable month-end close activities

Background Expected of the Collections Specialist:

• AD or BS in Accounting preferred; comparable experience will be weighted similarly
• 1+ year(s) of experience in an office setting with outgoing communication responsibilities
• Ability to prioritize customer relationships and handle difficult conversions
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and a major software management system

Salary, based on experience:

$45,000 – 55,000
