Responsibilities
- Handling accounts payable and receivable
- Performing reconciliations for shared expenses
- Tracking deposits and related transactions
- Utilizing forecasting and budgeting tools
- Reviewing and entering settlement statements and related documentation
- Proficiency with property management or accounting software for day-to-day operations
- Must have Yardi experience
- Advanced proficiency in accounting and financial reporting
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and reconciliation
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other spreadsheet tools
- Experience working with cross-functional teams
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Experience with vendor management platforms
- Strong knowledge of general accounting principles
- Familiarity with fund accounting and investment-related reporting
- Understanding of both asset-level and entity-level accounting
- Ability to prepare and interpret financial allocations and reports
- Experience with real estate transactions and closing processes
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
