Interim Senior Corporate Staff Accountant - Boston, MA (Hybrid)

We are currently seeking candidates for an Interim Senior Corporate Staff Accountant at a telecommunications co. in Boston, MA, 02116. The ideal candidate will have 4+ years of relevant accounting, general ledger reconciliation, and month-end experience.

Will support the Corporate Controller, primary responsibilities include journal entries, general ledger, reconciliations, financial statements, fixed assets, A/P, A/R, audits, and month and year-end close.
Duration: 6 months with potential for extension

Hourly Pay Rate:
Between $50.00-$70.00 (based on relevant work experience)

3 days on-site per week

Responsibilities

• Perform Journal Entries and Adjustments
• Post daily cash activity
• Balance Sheet Reconciliations
• Bank Statements Reconciliations
• Accounts Payable Reconciliations
• Reconcile General Ledger Accounts Reconciliations
• Financial statement preparation (subsidiary ledgers and identify variances)
• Assist in month-end close responsibilities
• Assist with policies and procedures
• Assist with implementing internal controls

• 4+ years’ experience in general accounting, reconciliation, and month-end responsibilities
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or equivalent preferred
• Ability to multi-task
• High proficiency in Microsoft Excel
